When Mark Tarlov acquired Oregon's hallowed Seven Springs Vinyard (and reunited it with Anden Vineyard), he didn't waste any time assembling a crack team of winemakers and growers. None other than Burgundy legend Dominique Lafon is the head consulting winemaker. And another burgundian, Isabelle Meunier, runs the day-to-day operation in the winery and the vineyards.

We have it on good authority that this 2009 "Eola-Amity" is indeed all estate fruit - just without the $40 price tag. It is very yummy and drinking quite well right now. But hurry up and get it while it's here - the winery is already sold out.

Here are Oregon Wine Merchants, we believe that wine clubs should be all about the wine and not about gimmicks.

Do you really need another cheap T-Shirt? Recipes that you'll never make? We didn't think so. But these things all cost time and money. Time that we'd rather spend finding wines for you and money you'd probably rather save. So our new clubs focus on bringing you exciting wines and telling something about them and why we chose them. There is a Northwest version and a Oregon Pinot Noir only version. The cost is roughly $50 / month plus shipping.

We also have a few spots open in our exclusive and very limited Founder's Club, which focuses on rare and high-end Northwest wines. The average for this club is $120.- / month.
