"The 2006 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is medium ruby-colored with an
expressive nose of smoke, spice box, cherry, and raspberry. On the
palate it has layers of sweet fruit, a bit of structure, good depth,
and a friendly disposition. Drink this tasty effort over the next four
years."

The Wine Advocate, # 179, Oct 2008
"Smooth and generous, this is nicely focused to show its ripe cherry,
plum and fresh orange flavors, picking up a spicy note as the long,
balanced finish lingers. Drink now through 2016. 1,150 cases made."

The Wine Spectator, June 31st, 2009
"Medium red. Black raspberry and
strawberry preserves on the nose, with subtle oak spice adding
interest. Fleshy red and dark berry flavors are medium in weight and
youthfully primal. Gentle acidity adds lift and cut to the sappy
finish. Gained sweetness and breadth with air, picking up a darker
cherry tone but maintaining vivacity. This is richer than the '05
version but less vibrant."
