"This fruit for this Pinot Noir was sourced from three vineyards in the Willamette Valley: Hawk's View Vineyard, Aubre Vert Vineyard, and Elysian Fields Vineyard. The growing season was a beautiful spring and summer with a fall that turned hot. This caused sugar levels to jump and allowed us to make a bigger than usual Pinot Noir. On the nose is red currant and royal anne cherries, leading into a big bright red cherry palate with a nice finish. This wine will pair nicely with salmon and chicken or pork off of the bbq. Bottled in 2004 it took 2 years of bottle aging for this wine to mature and be ready to released."
